U.S. Senator Dr. Roger Marshall agrees with his fellow Republicans; when it comes to funding for Ukraine, that the U.S. needs to spend more money on securing the southern border. He says the United States has "led the charge over there" for 70 years and we've spent more than $130 billion to help Ukraine. He says we need to "take care of our own home first."
Marshall says the farm bill should spend less on social programs and more on farmers. He says nutrition programs continue to grow in the farm bill and he wants to put the "farm" back in the farm bill. Marshall wants to see more money spent to help farmers with their rising costs.
