
A minor earthquake struck north central Kansas Sunday morning.
The magnitude 3.7 quake hit at 10:34 a.m. and was centered 3.7 miles NNE of Bennington, which is north of Salina. The quake was registered at a depth of 3.1 miles.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake was felt in Bennington and the nearby communities of Salina and Minneapolis. However, a person from Wichita reported on the U.S.G.S website that they had felt it here as well.
There are no reports of damage at this time.
