A motorcyclist is in the hospital after crashing into a bus in downtown Wichita Friday night.
It happened a little after 11 p.m., at the intersection of Douglas and Water near Century II.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the motorcycle driver, 18-year-old Bailey Ihde, was going the wrong way on Water Street, when his motorcycle collided with the front of a bus heading west on Douglas.
KHP said Ihde was wearing a helmet and safety equipment. He was taken to the hospital with suspected serious injuries.
The 64-year-old bus driver was not injured.
