Sedgwick County health officials have issued a new pandemic order, effective March 21, removing all gathering and capacity restrictions. County Commission Chair Pete Meitzner tells KNSS News this is good news for weddings, funerals, and restaurants. He says they no longer have "the percent of fire marshal restrictions".
The state of Kansas is about to enter phase 3 and 4 of the pandemic plan. Meitzner says that means a lot more people are now eligible to get the shots, beginning Monday.
Meitzner commented during the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show on KNSS.
