New web page for Wichita City Hall

Brandon Whipple
KNSS NEWS

At Tuesday's meeting the Wichita City Council will vote on a designer for a new city hall web page. The City will consider spending $184,000 for the first year of the project, with "CivicPlus" of Manhattan. Mayor Brandon Whipple tells KNSS News the current web page is not as user friendly as it could be. He says a new page will make it easier for citizens find the information they need at City Hall.

Whipple says the City has received a welcome Christmas present, a year-end budget surplus. Whipple says that will allow the City to have money for unforeseen expenses. He says the surplus totals as much as $2.5 million.

The City Council will discuss a special program that would give drivers a pathway to regain a suspended license.

Whipple commented on Mondays with the Mayor, on the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show on KNSS.
