One person is dead and another is in critical condition following a small plane crash in New Mexico on Friday.

That plane is believed to have taken off from Wichita’s Eisenhower National Airport. Records show the plane was on its way to Arizona but was scheduled for a fuel stop in New Mexico.

The Albuquerque Fire Department was dispatched to a golf course where the crash occurred. They found two people stuck inside. While the aircraft did not catch fire, it did have significant damage.

Eisenhower Airport officials said they were aware of the crash and that officials there are coordinating with authorities and first responders.

The names of the victims have not been released. The NTSB and FAA will investigate.
