The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating a crash on K-96 near Mount Hope that killed a 43-year-old Great Bend woman.
Ann Tournear and another motorcyclist, a 47-year-old man, were eastbound on K-96 around 12:30 Saturday afternoon. An unknown white Chevy pickup truck moved into the lane the two motorcycles were in. Tournear lost control and rolled her motorcycle, striking the second motorcyclist. She was transported to a local hospital where she died of her injuries. The other motorcyclist was not injured.
