One person suffered critical injuries when a car slammed into a restaurant in west Wichita Saturday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called around 3:30 p.m. to the Maple and Ridge area, when a car crashed into McAlister’s Deli, causing the building to partially collapse.
Wichita Police said the driver of the vehicle may have suffered from a medical emergency at the time of the incident. A passenger in the vehicle was not injured and no one in the deli was hurt.
