One person is dead after storms rolled through the area overnight.

The National Weather Service will be out today surveying damage just east of I-135 and 125th Street North, along the Sedgwick-Harvey County line. Between 1:15 and 1:20 Sunday morning, radar indicated rotation and debris. Our partners at 12 News confirmed with Sedgwick County Dispatch that a home was hit and a person died.

Elsewhere, 65 mph winds were measured 2 miles north-northwest of Andale and a top speed of 58 mph was measured in Derby.

There was a copious amount of rain last night. Here are some rainfall reports:

4.99" Mulvane
4.25" Wellington (major street flooding all over that community)
2.74" Eisenhower (about a half-inch of rain in 15 minutes)
1.68" at KWCH-TV

Around 2-3" of standing water was reported in east Wichita along Rock Road between Central and 13th Street. At one point, the westbound US-54 off-ramp to Hillside was impassible due to high water, which stranded vehicles.

Streets were flooded in Clearwater and just north of town too, with water running over the roadway at 95th Street South and Tracy.
