A man is dead after a shooting late Monday in southeast Wichita. Around 11:30 p.m. police made a traffic stop at a Quik Trip store at 1620 South Oliver.
A car pulled into the parking lot with several people inside, including a bleeding man in his 20s. The man later died at a hospital. It appears the shooting occurred at Harry and Clifton, near Via Christi St. Joseph hospital.
At the scene Wichita Police Capt. Kevin Kochenderfer told reporters investigators are pulling surveillance video from the hospital and businesses in the area. Police have no suspects at this time.
