A house fire Friday night in El Dorado claimed the life of one person.
The El Dorado Fire Department and Police officers responded to the house fire located in the 300 block of North Taylor Street.
When emergency crews arrived, they learned that one person was inside the residence. The victim was pulled from the home and life-saving measures were attempted but the person died from their injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
