A man is in serious condition at a local hospital after an overnight crash west of Valley Center.
That accident was reported around 3 a.m. Sunday in the 4300 block of W. 85th Street North. The vehicle struck a power pole, which was taken down. The man was trapped in his vehicle.
Power to the area was not affected.
