A 22-year-old woman was killed, and several victims were injured following a crash to the southeast of Lake Cheney early Sunday evening.
An east-bound Nissan Sentra on 21st Street North ran a stop sign, then was hit by a north-bound Chevy Tahoe on 391st Street West.
The 22-year-old male driver and a passenger in the Nissan were critically injured. The deceased passenger has been identified as Pratiksha Kunwar. The driver is a foreign exchange student.
A 36-year-old man from Cheney was driving the Chevy; he and his two passengers, a two-year-old boy and a three-year-old boy, were hospitalized with minor injuries.
