Wichita Police have arrested a man and woman in connection to the death of a 4-month old boy.
Police say a report of a baby not breathing was received just before 12:45 p.m. Friday, from the 1700 block of W. Esthner Avenue, in southwest Wichita.
EMS and Wichita Fire units arrived and found the baby had passed away.
Police investigators with the WPD Homicide Unit, as well as the Exploited and Missing Children’s Unit, responded to the scene to investigate the circumstances of the death. Officers discovered three other children, aged 4 and younger.
Both parents, 30-year-old Krystian Michael Manning and 27-year-old Destiny Chrystal Manning, were arrested and booked into the Sedgwick County Jail for four counts of Aggravated Endangerment of a Child and Child Abuse.
The children were placed into protective custody.
