Police are investigating a fatal accident in south Wichita. It happened around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday morning at Broadway and MacArthur.
Officers arrived and found a man identified as Charlie Jones, 68. He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Investigators say Jones was traveling northbound on Broadway in a motorized wheelchair when he was struck by a black 2011 Ford F-150 traveling eastbound on MacArthur
The accident remains under investigation.
