Police have identified a man shot to death in Kansas City, Kansas, near the Missouri border over the weekend. Police say Alec Byers, 24, of Kansas City, Missouri, died in the shooting that happened after 11:00 p.m. Sunday near State Line Road.
Officials say emergency dispatchers received calls about a person having been shot inside a vehicle, and arriving officers discovered Byers, who had already died from gunshot wounds.
No other information about the shooting has been given. No arrests or suspect information has been reported in the case.
