The Wichita Police Department is investigating a sexual assault case.
At approximately 10:00 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to a sexual assault case that took place in the 1500 block of West Pawnee. Officers contacted a woman, 21, who reported an unknown suspect knocking on her front door. When she opened the door, the suspect produced a knife and forced his way into the residence, and sexually assaulted her. The woman left the residence and called 911 for help.
Investigators have released surveillance video from a Ring doorbell in the area of a person on a bicycle. They say the person is the suspect in the case.
Police say the man is bald and is about 5' 10" tall, and weighs about 200 lbs.
