The Wichita Police Department is investigating the homicide of a man, stemming from a shooting.
It began just after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday when officers responded to an unknown call for EMS in the 8400 block of E. Harry. Officers arrived and located a man who was found lying on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound.
EMS and FIRE were on the scene and pronounced him deceased. Detectives and officers are actively investigating this case and following up on all leads.
