The man who died following a crash in north Wichita has been identified.
According to the Wichita Police Department, the crash happened near the intersection of 27th Street North and Woodland around 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
Wichita police say Don Kirk, 42, of Wichita, was standing behind his car when Alanso Garcia-Amaya, 33, rear-ended his car, pinning him.
Kirk was pronounced dead at the scene.
Garcia-Amaya was arrested on suspicion of involuntary manslaughter, and driving under the influence.
