Police are investigating the death of a 24-year-old Wichita man, who was fatally shot early Sunday morning in Old Town.
Around 12:40 a.m., officers were in the area of 100 N. Washington when they heard multiple gunshots nearby. Officers immediately responded to the area, along with a WPD drone.
The victim was found in a nearby parking lot, suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was treated by police until Sedgwick County EMS personnel arrived. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
