The Wichita Police Department, (WPD), has arrested Robert J. Anderson III, 42, of Wichita for the following charges:
· 19 counts to burglary;
· Two counts of aggravated burglary;
· Ten counts of attempted burglary;
· 13 counts of theft;
· 13 counts of criminal damage to property;
· One count of criminal possession of a firearm; and
· Unlawful possession of marijuana.
The arrest stems from multiple burglary investigations over the past two weeks.
WPD investigators have been investigating a burglary trend of multiple businesses being burglarized in Wichita and surrounding areas. In the burglaries, credit cards, cash, personal information, tools, and electronics were stolen.
Anderson was arrested today in the 3400 block of East Orchard without incident. Investigators also recovered stolen property from multiple burglaries and a rifle.
Additionally, Anderson has multiple previous felony convictions.
