Wichita police are investigating the shooting of a young boy. It happened around 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon in the 3100 block of south Yale.
The boy, 6, arrived at an area hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Police have been talking with a suspect who is known by the boy. It's believed to have been an accidental shooting. However, the case remains under investigation.
