Charges have been filed in the case of a young girl whose body was found buried in the back yard of a home in Rose Hill.
The probable cause affidavit that led police to make an arrest was released late Friday afternoon. Christina Schroer, 50, has now been charged with first-degree murder in the death of her adopted daughter, Kennedy, 6.
The 40 page document details alleged abuse of children, including the use of a box the children were allegedly place into for punishment.
Schroer's next court date has not been set.
