Salina police arrest one man, still seeking another man in homicide investigation

The Salina Police Department has arrested a man who investigators say aided in the commission of a homicide Tuesday, Feb. 23.

Police have been looking for Nelson Gerrod Hull III. They have named him as a suspect in the killing of Courtney Ann Hoffman.


Monday, they announced that during the course of the investigation, they developed information that Clarence Darnyl Brown, 34, of Salina, aided Hull.

Police arrested Brown.

An arrest warrant for Murder in the 1st Degree was issued by the Saline County District Court for Hull.

Investigators say they have uncovered many leads during the homicide investigation. Now they are searching for Hull and he should be considered armed and dangerous.
