There were 17 tornado reports in Kansas following Saturday's storms, most of those to the southeast of Wichita.
A small tornado was reported around 3:30 Saturday afternoon 3 miles south-southwest of Dexter and some building damage was reported in the area. Other reports came from near Moline and Howard.
There were several reports of quarter-size hail and torrential rainfall, with Chanute picking up over 6 inches. Officially 0.96" of rain was recorded at Wichita's Eisenhower National Airport.
