Wichita Public Schools is continuing its effort to stay connected with the community by launching its second annual Community Engagement Survey.

The survey will be available throughout April and is designed to gauge public awareness of key areas within the district, including student achievement priorities, safety and belonging, overall satisfaction, and community engagement. District leaders say the feedback will play an important role in shaping future decisions and ensuring resources and strategies align with community expectations.

“We have been listening to our community with intention for the past few years, and this survey is one tool to help guide our decisions,” said Superintendent Kelly Bielefeld.

“The survey is a powerful way to better understand how our community views our schools, how connected they feel to the district, and how much trust they have in us to educate the next generation of workers and leaders.”

The survey can be accessed online, available on the district’s website at www.usd259.org. Results will be presented to the Board of Education this summer.
