Commission Chair Ryan Baty tells KNSS News a budget retreat is set for February 21st. Baty says he has his priorities in his mind, including property taxes, stability of workforce, and where can we find redundancies, which waste taxpayers' dollars. Baty says creating the budget is "the bulk" of what the county commission does, and he's looking forward to it.
At Wednesday's meeting, the Sedgwick County Commission will approve contracts. Baty says a contract board recommends action on the contracts for presentation to the commission for approval.
Baty commented during his weekly appearance on the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show on KNSS.
