The Sedgwick County Commission will hear a report on this year's Kansas Legislative session at Wednesday's meeting. Commission Chair Ryan Baty tells KNSS News the county "really swung for the fences this year," but ended up focusing on elections. Baty says the lawmakers approved limiting "special elections" to one a year.

The Sedgwick County Commission will approve a proclamation at Wednesday's meeting, designating Drug Endangered Children Day. Baty says he has seen the "aftermath" when drugs are part of a child's home life.

Ryan Baty commented during his weekly chat with Steve and Ted in the Morning on KNSS.
