Kansas will be holding a Presidential Preference Primary on March 19th, 2024. It will be the first presidential primary for Kansas in 3 decades. Sedgwick County Election Commissioner Laura Rainwater says a high voter turnout is expected. In response, Rainwater says they will be adding around 20 new polling sites and expanding the number of days for early voting.
The final day to register to vote is February 20th. Advance voting begins on February 28.
Once the votes are counted, the results will be given to each political party so they can determine the number of delegates for the National conventions.
