The Sedgwick County Zoo says they will be closed Saturday, through Monday, January 15 due to forecasted temperatures and dangerous wind chills.
The Zoo says its closing will allow for staff to keep animals safe and warm indoors, and they encourage potential visitors to do the same.
The Zoo says they plan to reopen on Tuesday, January 16.
