Power was cut to a number of residents in Mulvane, after a semi struck a power line.

Mulvane Fire Rescue says it happened Monday morning near Olive and Emery, as a driver was making a delivery. The truck caught a line and brought down three high-voltage transformers. The driver remained in his vehicle until utility crews arrived to turn off the power.
Four power poles were also broken, but no injuries were reported.
Mulvane Fire Rescue says power may be off for a couple of days to the USD 263 administrative offices and Mulvane Recreation Commission while repairs are made.
