U.S. Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) is expressing his opposition to the Biden administration's infrastructure improvement plan. On the Senate floor Wednesday Marshall says less than 5% of the spending in the two trillion-dollar bill actually goes building roads and bridges in the U.S.
"Kansans understand that while this bill provides 115 billion dollars for roads and bridges," said Sen. Marshall, "more than half of the over 2 trillion dollars is devoted to green projects and the elimination of fossil fuels."
Moran claimed the package also benefits China, raises taxes on hardworking Americans, and imposes burdensome regulations.
