A storm system that produced a tornado, moved through northeast Kansas Wednesday evening.
Golf Ball sized hail was reported in Geary County shortly after 6:00 p.m.
In Marion County, half-dollar-sized hail fell and strong to severe winds damaged a roof of a greenhouse, and damaged a shed.
Shortly after 9:00 p.m. a tornado was reported in Chase County. The National Weather Service reported several buildings were damaged near Chase County Lake. And law enforcement said the storm overturned a semi between Elmdale and Strong City. The driver suffered unknown injuries.
Damage assessments will continue through the night and following sunrise on Thursday.
