McConnell Air Force Base is moving aircraft due to today's threat of severe weather.

Officials at the base say KC-135R Stratotanker and KC-46A Pegasus aircraft will relocate to other military bases to protect the aircraft from potential damage as well as to support the 22nd Air Refueling Wing's military mission.

The remaining aircraft, vehicles and equipment will be stored in hangars.

This is the fourth time in the past six weeks that aircraft have been moved from McConnell.
