A fire early Sunday morning caused significant damage to a south Wichita home.
The blaze was reported around 6:15 a.m., near Seneca and Greenfield Street.
A passerby saw the fire and called 911. Heavy smoke was coming from the home when the first fire crews arrived on the scene. Fortunately, they were able to put out the fire quickly.
There's no word on a cause for the fire and a damage estimate has not been released.
