Freeze warnings are in effect overnight for northern portions of the state, while frost advisories are in effect for portions of south central Kansas.
Meanwhile, fire weather watches will be in effect for western Kansas through Thursday evening as windy conditions return.
For Wichita a frost advisory is in effect from 1:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Later in the day temperatures will warm to around 65. A chance of rain returns from Saturday night through Sunday night.
