UPDATE: A statewide Silver Alert has been canceled after the body of a 76-year-old Garden City woman with dementia was found.
The Garden City Police Department says Virginia Green was found Tuesday evening in a remote area in Finney County.
The Finney County Sheriff's Office is investigating Green's death

Virginia Green, 76, is missing and police are requesting help from the public in locating her.
She was last seen at her residence in Garden City on Sunday, and is likely driving a 2014 red Ford Escape with Kansas tag 494KVD. Her direction of travel is unknown.
Green is a white woman, around 5 ft. tall, and weighing 150 lbs. She has gray hair and hazel eyes. She also wears glasses and has a scar on the side of her eyebrow near her right temple. She has dementia.
