The Wichita Police Department has arrested a suspect in a homicide case.
According to Sedgwick County Jail booking sheets, 18-year-old Easton G. Palmer was booked early Wednesday on suspicion of first-degree murder and aggravated battery.

Police on Tuesday released a photo seeking two suspects in the shooting death of 17-year-old Erik Stokes in the 3800 block of West 13th Street North Sunday evening.
KSN News reports that police say five people were at the apartment when three suspects armed with handguns forced their way in. Investigators say the five people went into a bedroom and then shots were fired by the suspects. Stokes and another 17-year-old boy were hit. The second teenager survived.
