A Wichita man accused of killing two people in the Riverside neighborhood, made his first appearance in court on Friday.
Charles Crawford, 62, was charged with capital murder in the deaths of Vanessa Crawford, 50, and Donald Eckert, 58.
As police were investigating the shooting scene, Crawford arrived with a gun pointed at himself.
A standoff ensued, but ended after about an hour and a half when Crawford surrendered.
Bond was set at $2,000,000. His next court appearance was scheduled for August 14.
