Wichita Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Saturday morning in east Wichita.
It happened at 4:40 a.m. at the Kwik Shop at 13th and Woodlawn. The clerk was talking with a customer when he noticed two people wearing ski masks walk in and proceeded to the bathroom. The clerk had a suspicious feeling and walked outside of the store to call 911. The suspects forced the clerk back inside the store to open the registers at gunpoint.
The suspects are described as unknown race males in their late teens to early thirties. The pair stole approximately $200 in cash from the registers and fled south towards 12th Street.
