Firefighters were called to 29th & Maize this morning in the northwest part of Wichita after someone crashed an SUV into a strip mall.
The van came to a stop inside an unoccupied part of the building after destroying the entrance.
The strip mall is home to multiple businesses, including HomeGrown restaurant, Horton’s Carpets, Orangetheory Fitness, Milan Laser Hair Removal, and Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa.
Fortunately, the crash did not occur at any of the active businesses in the strip mall.
