A teenage girl died Saturday afternoon, after she was struck by a vehicle in west Wichita.
It happened just before 5:40 p.m. at 13th Street N. and Scouller St, near Sedgwick County Park. Wichita Police said two teens were walking north across 13th Street when a driver hit one of them.
The unnamed victim was transported to a local hospital in extremely critical condition and later died from her injuries.
Wichita Police say speed nor alcohol were a factor in the crash.
