Three pedestrians suffered serious injuries outside of the Kansas State Fair when they were hit by a motorist.
It happened just after 10:30 Friday night, on State Fair Road between Gates 5 and 6 on the north side of the fairgrounds. The three pedestrians were in the roadway when they were hit by an eastbound vehicle.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Michael Musick, 62, and Kristen Musick, 55 of Hutchinson, suffered serious injuries. The third victim, an unidentified juvenile, also was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, Dylan Shelton, 22 of Hutchinson, was uninjured.
