Three teenagers have been arrested following a police chase in north central Wichita.
It began around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night near 9th and Ash, when officers attempted to pull over a black Nissan sedan.
The driver refused to stop, and officers followed the car onto I-135, where the car crashed attempting to exit onto Oliver from K-96.
Five people ran from the vehicle into a wooded area. Officers were able to apprehend a boy, 17, and two girls, 14.
A hand gun and drugs were recovered from the vehicle, and another handgun was found near the car.
A search continues for the driver and the other passengers.
