Topeka man indicted for possession of child sexual abuse materials

A federal grand jury in Topeka returned an indictment charging a Kansas man with having child sexual abuse materials.

Joseph Dube, 38, of Topeka was indicted on one count of possession of child sexual abuse materials.  Dube is accused of knowingly accessing and possessing materials depicting minors under 12 years of age engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

The defendant made his initial court appearance Thursday before a U.S. Magistrate Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas.

The U.S. Secret Service and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) are investigating the case. for all students.
