
A tornado was confirmed touching down in the northwest Kansas town of Selden. It happened around 6:30 p.m. Monday night.
Sheridan County Emergency Management conformed the tornado causing damage. There are reports of commercial buildings and homes being damaged, as well as downed trees in the area.
Other reports indicate at least one injury, an overturned semi and train, as well as a silo that was destroyed.
Additional reports and damage estimates are expected.
