Multiple vehicles crashed on the downtown Wichita Kellogg flyover shortly after 9:00 a.m. Police say a U-Haul truck carrying baked goods rolled off of east-bound Kellogg during the crash, falling off the south side of Kellogg and landing below the highway near Washington street.
The truck skidded from its initial landing point, coming to a stop on the train tracks below the flyover.
A victim in the truck was hospitalized with potentially serious injuries. People behind the truck who saw the accident exited Kellogg, then went down to pull the driver out of the truck.
As emergency crews responded to the crash, traffic on Kellogg was narrowed to one lane at times. Within two hour, all lanes of east-bound traffic had re-opened.
