President Donald Trump has rescheduled campaign rallies in a pair of critical states that he'd previously canceled, according to a person familiar with the plans. This includes a rally in Kansas, now happening on Sunday at Salina Regional Airport, the site where the rally was initially planned for Saturday on Halloween. The Salina Airport Authority confirmed the rally is scheduled to start at 2:00 p.m. Sunday.
The person said Friday the Republican president will now visit Kansas and Iowa for back-to-back campaign rallies on Sunday; the source insisted on anonymity to discuss Trump’s schedule.
The Republican National Committee initially said in canceling the Saturday rallies that the President would do tele-rallies instead to reach more voters. But the person familiar with the latest plans say the Kansas and Iowa rallies have been rearranged to accommodate the new tele-rallies added to Trump’s schedule.

Trump has already traveled to both Kansas and Iowa this month to boost incumbent GOP Sen. Dr. Roger Marshall in Kansas, and Republican Senate candidate from Iowa Ashley Hinson, who currently serves in the U.S. House of Representatives. Those stops were among more than two dozen rallies the president has headlined so far this month.
