President Trump has nominated three Kansans to fill federal judge positions.

In several posts on Truth Social on Wednesday night, President Trump announced the nomination of a lawyer, a judge, and the current director of the Kansas Bureau of Investigation to serve as judges for the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas.

Trump nominated KBI Director Tony Mattivi, along with Anthony Powell and Jeffrey Kuhlman. Powell previously served as a judge for the Kansas Court of Appeals, and Kuhlman is a law partner for specializing in civil litigation.

Mattivi is currently the director of the KBI and had previously served as a federal prosecutor for 20 years.
