U.S. Senator from Kansas, Dr., Roger Marshall, met with Jamieson Greer, President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee to serve as the United States Trade Representative.

Sen. Marshall said, “Jamieson Greer has my full support as the next United States Trade Representative. Greer knows Agriculture and the Kansas aerospace industry inside and out and will fight for new and expanded opportunities for our commodities and products. During our conversation, his passion, experience, and dedication to defending our Made in America products was clear. I have no doubt, with him at the helm, we will be a powerhouse in trade negotiations and on the world stage once again.”

Greer's career has been dedicated to the military, trade, and international relations. He served in Kansas and in Turkey as an Air Force officer in the Judge Advocate General's Corps, and was deployed to Iraq as Chief of Military Justice. He worked in private firms focusing on trade law and international trade. As Chief of Staff to the previous USTR, Robert Lighthizer, he played a role in President Trump's trade negotiations worldwide.
